This article describes maps in general. For the category, see Category:Maps.
Maps are games contents that give you the ability to explore and to attack all around one. Most of them can be found in the Map Selection, after tapping/clicking the "Battle Now" button. Without maps, it would be impossible to play Modes (whether if it is in PG3D or PGW) and Minigames, as well as using weapons.
Maps could come in all sizes and looks. Some maps can also be based off from another game, or could just be festive. Some maps may also provide very high places, or one of the most secret places in both games. There are 6 maps that exist in both Pixel Gun games.
Pixel Gun 3D
In Pixel Gun 3D, there are 6 maps that exist in both games, and at least 35 maps exclusive to Pixel Gun 3D, making a total of at least 40-50 maps in the game.
Pixel Gun World
In Pixel Gun 3D, there are 8 maps that exist in both games, and 3 maps exclusive to Pixel Gun World, making a total of 11 non-event maps.
Arena maps are maps that can be found in PGW's Arena mode. There are only 2 maps in this mode.
- Pixel Gun World has 3 exclusive maps, while Pixel Gun 3D has at least 35 exclusive maps, making this a pretty large difference when it comes to the amount of maps.
- All of the maps except Campaign Maps, Arena Maps, Quiet Island, Floating Islands and Virtual Marathon can be found in the Map Selection in both Pixel Gun games.
